Nach Victory-Weggang und kurzem Gastspiel bei Wind-Up Records haben die Indie-Rocker von BAYSIDE nun bei Hopeless unterschrieben. Dort konnte man in den letzten Jahren mit SAMIAM und YELLOWCARD bereits namhafte Combos verpflichten. Am 18. Februar 2014 soll das neue Album „Cult“ erscheinen.
Dass es ein sehr persönliche Platte werden wird, daran lässt Frontmann Anthony Raneri keinen Zweifel: „The year that we spent making this record was both the most difficult and most exciting time of my life. I lost my grandfather, stepfather and stepbrother in a four month span during the making of this record. As a counterbalance, I also got married, had my first child, and built my first home. The whole year was an example of how hard and wonderful life can be, and how quickly your world can change.”
