Für ihr im Frühjahr veröffentlichtes jüngstes Album „Rules" bekamen FIRST BLOOD viel Lob. Zum Track „Rules of Conviction" haben die Hardcoreler nun ein Video bereitgestellt, bei dem sie u. a. Schützenhilfe von Jesse Barnett (STICK TO YOUR GUNS) erhalten. Frontmann Carl Schwartz erklärt die Motivation zum Clip wie folgt: "I grew up going to see bands like Earth Crisis and Path of Resistance; bands with a voice, passion, conviction and heart. They inspired and helped shape my own personal convictions over the years, and these ideals are still very important to me today. This song is for those who paved the way and respect to those who still remain. These beliefs will never fade.
